The second book in J. Tajemstvím’s dystopian nightmare (for men, anyway) sees the new matriarchal society becoming even stricter towards the men under their sexual and domestic jurisdiction who are already regarded as little more than chattels and beasts-of-burden.

That the old cliché of power-corrupting is holding true, is in no doubt; but the question the more intelligent and conscience-stricken women of the society are asking themselves, is whether what is swiftly becoming “absolute power” will go on to corrupt absolutely.

And should the women ruling their society allow themselves to succumb to it.
